meal plan: week of 8-19-2012

Friday night - we're going out to a wedding, so we'll eat there.

Saturday lunch - a small snack or a large breakfast before we go to a Passover reenactment lunch at 2 pm.
Saturday dinner - Food and Family get-together with our Spanish-speaking group at church; I'm bringing two items:
     Skinny Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing
     Skinny Artichoke Dip with pretzel crisps

Sunday lunch - grabbing something light after morning church, before we head to the grocery store
Sunday dinner - Cooking Light Mexican Chicken and Hominy Soup (aka posole)

Monday - Kickin' Green Chili and cantaloupe.

Tuesday - Crockpot Kalua Pig, jasmine rice, stir-fried veggies

Wednesday - Roasted chicken sausage and veggies

Thursday - leftover Kalua pig OR TABLTs (turkey, avocado BLTs) and Annie's mac and cheese with mixed veggies thrown in.

Friday - out to dinner with a friend

And, just for fun, a picture of a baby blue pumpkin growing in the garden!
